Legendary Detroit techno artist and upcoming Future Factory headliner Felix Da Housecat made his triumphant return to the airwaves this month with his latest track, ”Is Everything OK?”

As the lead single off of his upcoming album “Narrative Of Thee Blast Illusion,” Felix’s latest production “Is Everything OK?” charters new sonic territory for the veteran DJ, leaning away from his techno roots, and landing somewhere between synth pop and French house. In fact, at first listen, you may think that Daft Punk had a hand in the tune’s creation.

Gliding lead lines, sexy vocoded vocals, and captivating melodies come together to transport you to a realm that’s slightly retro, yet modern and fresh—a sound that Felix has spent the last three years perfecting. While this tune is wildly different from much of his back catalogue, Felix is unapologetic of this new direction, which means that we will hopefully get to hear it at Future Factory on Friday, July 3rd!
